With over six years experience in mortgage lending, Kenton has a complete knowledge of loans in the market and is highly skilled in creative financing. It is a passion for him to see people achieve homeownership when they never thought they could.
Kenton values the importance of continued education, especially in the real estate and mortgage industry. He is a member of the local REAPS, which is the Northwest's largest Real Estate Association, and REA, an investor centric association. Kenton is also a member of the Christian Real Estate Network, involving Christian real estate professionals around the country.
As once a First-Time Homebuyer, Kenton developed a passion for assisting First-Time Homebuyers in the loan transaction. With a goal of helping First-Time Homebuyers purchase their first home, Kenton passed the Housing Finance Commission "House Key" Program in August 2006. If, for whatever reason, they can't qualify there are alternatives to take in the journey to home ownership. Kenton, part owner of a lease option company, Empire Options, can also assist in taking the next step toward home ownership by using a rent to own strategy.
While focusing on improving all aspects of improving his 'wellness', including physical, spiritual, emotional, mental and environmental; he also saw a huge need for financial wellness. He then started a company called Credit and Financial Wellness having a goal of bettering his client's financial situation and preparing them for home ownership.
